Training : Required Qualifications

ADR Chambers are currently working with The Civil Mediation Council and other UK providers to establish a common training programme to recognise and create an industry standard qualification.

ADR Chambers are however proactive in this regard and we require that all our members should have undergone full and appropriate training either through our own internal training programme or through a recognised mediation provider such as CEDR or ADR Group. ADR Chambers requires that all members comply with their professional body’s CPD rules and that this should include a biannual module including mediation. ADR Chambers requires that newly qualified mediators with no previous experience of the process shall act as a pupil mediator on two occasions and shall be certified as fit to mediate by a designated mentor. Members can expect to be the subject of monitoring by the use of feedback requests to professional clients of ADR Chambers in every case, through standard quality control and through mentoring.
