1970- : In practice at 4 Pump Court London EC4 developing a wide ranging common law and commercial expertise principally in insurance and reinsurance, professional negligence, and commercial arbitration (internationally mainly in Hong Kong, Singapore, the USA and France), financial regulation, commercial fraud, and construction. In particular I spent about 10 years dealing with Lloyd’s litigation, with many appearances in court and arbitration, including Henderson v Merrett in the House of Lords. I have advised and acted for many insurers on a wide range of tactical and litigation issues.
