I gained wide experience in the workings of the international shipping industry and in all aspects of commercial claims resolution and litigation in London and abroad. I was actively involved in liability insurance market committees for many years dealing with governments, international and national regulators and trade associations around the world in the negotiation of legal and regulatory issues. As chief executive of a company employing around 200 people with offices in London and overseas I have considerable experience of all aspects of managing a medium sized international business and with the investment of the company’s assets. I am a non-executive Director of J. B. Boda [U.K.] Ltd., a Lloyd’s broker, and Capregen Plc., a life sciences investment company. I am a Trustee and member of the investment committees of several charitable organisations. As a private investor I have experience of property development, management and disputes. Against my legal background I can set many year of experience in the management, negotiation and resolution of a wide variety of disputes, both large and small, across the commercial spectrum. |
