    Professional Indemnity
    Regularly instructed by SIF and other PI firms in professional indemnity claims brought against solicitors and barristers in respect of a wide variety of cases, including Elton John v Price Waterhouse.

    Employment Law
    His practice in the employment field covers all aspects of contract, restrictive covenants, dismissal, discrimination, disciplinary action, transfer of undertakings and health and safety at work. He acted for the major construction companies who constructed the Thames Barrier and the Channel Tunnel, and he is instructed regularly by Health Authorities and Hospital Trusts.

    Mediation and Arbitration experience
    Mediates regularly in a variety of disputes concerning partnerships, banking, insurance and re-insurance, employment and pension rights, solicitors’ and valuers’ negligence, and commercial contract disputes with claims over £100 million, including referrals from the Commercial Court.

    Used by CEDRSolve, ADR Chambers and Littleton Disputes Resolution Ltd. Chairman of Bar Council Committee on ADR. Arbitrates disputes in the UK concerning commercial and franchising contracts. Last year he led a team to train arbitrators for the Kingdom of Bhutan at the request of the Chief Justice and has recently mediated a dispute between the main contractor, engineers and sub-contractor involving the construction of the London Dockland Railway tunnel under the Thames.
