Partner since 1987 in Aaron & Partners LLP, Chester (a firm of lawyers focusing on law for businesses) dealing with commercial and corporate work, a wide variety of commercial disputes, and insolvency.

Education:  Manchester Grammar School and University College London

Qualified as a solicitor 1983, joined Aaron & Partners 1985.  Licenced as an Insolvency Practitioner since 1989.  Notary Public since 1997.  Trained as a mediator 2000 with ADR Group.

I have mediated a good number of cases, every one of which (whether I have been mediator or acting for a party) has settled either on the day or within several weeks afterwards.  I am an analytical thinker, able to identify objectives and define priorities.   I have negotiated very many deals in the course of my career, non-contentious and also to resolve disputes; I think laterally to find solutions.  This has been assisted by operating in both contentious and non-contentious work.
