Education

Peter qualified as a Solicitor in 1972 “the hard way” – whilst working for Reginald Johnson & Co, Hayes.  He studied with the London College of Law and undertook Part II by distance learning.

Information

Following Articles with Reginald Johnson & Co Peter joined Beechcroft & Co, London in the Commercial Litigation Department.  He joined Foskett Marr Gadsby & Head dealing with all that Practices High Court Litigation.  Peter subsequently dealt with all aspects of a general Legal Practice.

Peter has been a Partner at Gepp & Sons, one of the oldest and largest Solicitors’ Practice in Essex since 1988 who he joined as a Commercial Property Partner.

In 1993 he became Head of the Civil Litigation Department which has a national reputation for effective handling of a broad range of issues.

The team under Peter’s leadership take on all types of disputes while Peter now, personally, specialises in Commercial Litigation both contractual and in negligence.

His experience of litigation at all levels makes him particularly committed to the role of ADR and sympathetic to the challenges of achieving resolution.

Peter also has considerable experience in undertaking Practice “Interventions” on behalf of the Law Society.

He lectures to allied professionals for CPD purposes.
