General Information: 

Peter is a lawyer and Chartered Builder with 26 years experience in construction with considerable experience acting as legal advisor in dispute resolution, providing general advice to a board of directors as well drafting project documentation. As a senior lawyer, he has project managed through to financial close one of the largest private finance initiative hospital projects on behalf of one of the joint venturer’s. Since he joined No5 Chambers, the Legal 500 describes No 5 Chambers as “known particularly for its construction expertise”. He has acted for parties in many litigations and arbitrations throughout the world mainly in the field of Construction but also in Information Technology. He has over 50 appointments as a third party dispute resolver. He has given expert evidence on settlement negotiation in the Commercial Court.

He is a Registered Mediator with CEDR and regularly acts either as mediator, or represents one of the parties in mediation. He has mediated cases involving Construction, Commerce, Information Technology, Copyright, Internet, Local Government, Crime including Corporate Fraud, National Security, Nursing homes, Professional Negligence, Employment, Race relation’s, Landlord and Tenant, Shooting and hunting rights.
