CAREER HISTORY

Started at Serpell Son & Davey in July 1984. (Serpell Eaton with effect from September 2003)

At that time I was the litigation department covering all aspects of litigious work.

I became an equity partner in 1986.

Over the years I developed the litigation practice at Serpell Eaton.

It is in the nature of a smaller legal practice that I was involved in a wide variety of litigation, examples are as follows:

Disputes involving membership associations.

Family disputes of all situations including Trusts for Lands claim.

Inherent jurisdiction issues and declaratory proceedings.

Landlord & Tenant disputes (both residential/commercial)

Consumer disputes

I was pro-active in the expansion of the firm playing a major part in the mergers to the extent that we were approached by Foot Anstey who subsequently acquired our practice.
